I don't believe for one second that was the first time she saw the movie or that the majority of things she "noticed" came from her.
Not to mention the fact that Kevin having a rifle is utterly ridiculous, especially since he shoots action figures with it. Pretty confident he would have blown them apart and put holes in the wall.

I'd watch it.

Bump because it's that time of year and this is one of my favorite threads.

How come Harry and Marv didn't notice the complete lack of cars st the McAllisters during the big party?

They took a shuttle to the airport. The cars were still there that Harry saw.

But where. They weren't in the driveway as seen when Kevin sees the cars in the garage. Kevin made it look like a lot more people there than just those 2 cars in the driveway. But I guess since there were actually extra people there we have to assume the cars were somewhere. Just seems like that "house was jumping" with more people than just the family.

Due to the bump:
Thoughts of "Home Alone 4" made you close your shutters? Haha.

Just started watching HA2. Has anyone commented on why the frick Uncle Frank doesn't lock the shower door when there are like 20 kids in the house?
The dude is clearly a pedaphile on top of being the cheapest person in the world.

Because he wants a kid to get in the shower with him. He's clearly a serial molester.

We watching on AMC right now? First time I've watched Hom Alone 2 with Trump as President-Elect.

Interesting story about that check out girl in the grocery store that asked Kevin all the questions. Turns out this was just her day job. She worked nights down at the Jiggle Hut as a stripper but when that wasn't making enough money to support her $2000 per day coke habit, she had to get a day job as well. She became a stripper and acquired the taste for coke because her father was a habitual criminal. Spent years in and out of jail and was never there for her when she needed a father figure in her life. He ended up getting arrested for the big one. Seems he and this other low life started robbing houses in the rich neighborhoods around Christmas while the owners were away on vacation. Jackass even made it easy for the cops to link him and his partner to all the houses because he always flooded the house by turning on the water faucets and stopping up the drains.

I've always had a problem with the fact that Kevin ordered pizza. Am I mistaken that the phones were out? Also if the phones were back on then f the parents for not even trying to place a call.
Read a theory about that on reddit.
The tree actually severed the main trunk line to the whole town, but local calls within the same exchange still worked.
Long distance calls probably couldn’t be made to the McCallister residence, but local calls would be okay. ?This would explain why Kevin’s dad couldn’t reach him from overseas, but Kevin can still call a local pizza spot.

Also in II, Louisiana people especially should notice how big of a rip off the pearl beeds the street salesman sold Kevin. 2 for $5 or 4 for $10. Factoring in inflation, that would be like 2 for $30 or 4 for $50 today. That alone should have put him in jail for gouging

Watched 2 with kids last night. First time in 20 years. It was cringeworthy, especially the scene where Kevin runs to the bathroom when the bellman breaks in and pretends to have a blow up doll in the shower. Who would buy that?
