Yeah, I extended the recording when I saw the game was going to run long.

No new episode in weeks. Last I looked online there was no mention of future episodes.

It comes back on March 11th and I imagine will run continuously til it’s finale in April or May.

It was an odd year for Fox Sunday programming given that when they came back from the mid-season/holiday break they could only air a few episodes because Fox had the late NFC Championship Game, then nothing airs opposite the Super Bowl and then all of a sudden here are the Olympics which puts pretty much everything on every channel on pause scripted-television show wise.

Man, I searched for this thread for 5 minutes and couldn't get anything to come up. I thought this last episode was the best one in a long, long time. We got season 1 Phil and not the bumbling idiot Tandy. I loved it.

I still enjoy the show a lot, but it’s definitey not close to as good as it used to be.

I was glad to see Fred Armisen not last too long. It’s weird that he went via the explosive that they’ve been hinting at all season, and it ended up not being worth the buildup IMO.

The whole Jasper thing is a complete waste of screen time for me though. He sucks as a character, he literally doesn’t speak, and he basically ruins Melissa and Todd completely.

I agree. I don't get why that character is around. I enjoyed Fred Armisen.

If they'd go back to just Phil alone in every scene just being Phil, I'd watch for 8 more seasons.

Margarita hot tubs, collecting previous artworks & hanging them wherever he pleases, raiding grocery stores, etc.

Yes yes yes. The old Phil was hilarious always thinking about getting laid any way possible and doing stupid shite. Now, mostly all he does is say stupid shite in that dumb arse voice.

I always forget about this show until I see that the DVR recorded it. Their breaks are way too damn long.

With that said I've been enjoying it lately. For a while there in the middle seasons it just felt like it lulled WAY too much, and even though they aren't really doing anythign now I feel like the jokes have been funnier. I agree Jasper is utterly pointless. I wonder what direction they'll go in next as far as meeting other survivors or moving to new locations.

Something tells me it may not last another season to where we can find out where they go with the story.

I don’t think the writers know where they’re going. I watch every episode but usually while browsing on my phone, it’s interesting enough that I care enough to watch but I wouldn’t say I enjoy it.

I wish they wouldn't have killed his astronaut brother with the virus.

I'd kinda like a bunch of episodes of Jasper in the woods doing dumb stuff.

The show always reminds me that January Jones is a bitch in real life.

I still watch though. It's 17 minutes of show and 13 minutes of commercials so, skipping through commercials, it's a quick watch.

I think there's a good chance this show had the best executed pilot of any comedy I've ever seen.

You know how people are always clamoring for tv shows? Harry Potter should be a tv show! WWZ should be a tv show! Yeah, this shite should have been a movie. Should have been a 90 minute version of the pilot with the exact same plot and ending and it would have been an all-timer of a comedy.

But for the brief arc where Sudeikis showed up, it has literally gotten worse with every single episode.

I've decided they're not really going anywhere with the story, it's just a dark version of Gilligan's Island. Instead of laughing at Gilligan's shenanigans, everybody gets mad or rolls their eyes and remembers that there are no other humans for miles around. I'm hoping the Harlem Globetrotters make an appearance at some point.
