Honestly, this season has been slightly down so far.

Some great individual scenes but so far not a whole lotta substance. Wynona needs to make an appearance.

She's only going to be in a few episodes. Natalie Zea is starting in another show.

Justified has always started slow and built up through the season. Unfortunately it looks like they're making the same mistakes as last year. An annoying character they refuse to kill off, and a flawed badass whose flaws are revealed way too soon.

She's the female lead in The Following with Kevin Bacon. Jumped from baby FoX to big FOX.

Seems to me like the structure of this season is much different than the previous two. There is no one big bad guy. The previews look like they will be delving into the big mystery next week which should be good.

That episode just had a weird feeling throughout for me. Didn't really enjoy it that much for some reason.

I'd like to see Limehouse and Quarles back. I thought Ella Mae's story ran its course last season. Was hoping they were REALLY shipping her off to Alabama as a way to get her off the show without necessarily killing her (in case they ever needed her to come back). I would've much rather seen her screentime go to Arlo and advance the parachuter storyline.

is he alive? I assumed he bled out, but I guess they never showed whether he died or not.

Probably not.

I just assumed it was one of those "deaths" (like Johnny's) that they could find a way around if they really wanted to bring him back. The Justified Wiki says it's undetermined whether he's dead or not.

Neither. That's a 71 or 72 Pontiac LeMans, the cheapo car the GTO was based on. A POS.

did anybody else find it odd that the preacher died after a single rattlesnake bite? how is that possible today unless he had a huge allergy? i don't even think a single bite is assured death WITHOUT treatment. you may lose a limb, but not death

I'm not completely convinced he's dead.

IIRC they were very dicey with that. "I'm sorry about what happened to your brother.' =/= "I'm sorry your brother is dead."

Could they be setting him up for a miraculous recovery/resurrection?

How do you go 4 whole episodes to start the season with zero Raylan/Boyd interaction? Even if the story doesn't call for it, you could still have them meet by chance and exchange a few insults. This season is interesting, but the Raylan/Boyd dynamic is what got me hooked on this show to begin with. This separate story-lines crap is getting real old real quick.

Yeah, they did when the sheriff was on the computer it said "Drew Thompson" aka the mystery man.

Theo Tonin is going to be the big bad guy this year but I agree with you about the structure is different this year. I think this season is going to be more like Season 1 (which was HATED by this board) than Season 3. I think this shaping up to be better season than last year.

The end scene between Lindsey and Raylan was pretty good.

What? First I've heard of that. From what I've seen around here it was pretty well liked

The sister in talking to the sheriff said regarding Boyd "You mean has he done anything besides killing my brother?" which led me to believe he died.

Back during Season 1, there was a lot of hate on this board,
