So Boyd hooks up with Buck Compton. They agree to work together to get the Bennett money from Bubba Blue. In exchange, they agree to stay out of eachother's shite. Boyd, being local, also agrees to help the carpetbagging Buck Compton find his way around. The first thing he tells him is to don't frick with Marshall Raylan Givins.

I wouldn't be surprised if Boyd kills Buck by the time this season ends. There is no way Boyd is going to let Buck have the oxy business in Harlen.

Boyd just said this episode allowing outsiders in was what did his dad in. He's also said he wants to monopolize all crime in Harlan. He's not going to like buck
