Without spoiling anything, it has to do with his creation process apparently. There's a reason for it, even though it's not well explained in the movie. That's what I've heard.

Movie tries to explain this. He isn't what you would call a normal robot with ai like Ultron.

It's really easier to discuss these things after the movie comes out. I'm sure this and many more issues will be hashed out to no end.

I found a decent stream at pubfilm, watched up until the Hulkbuster scene and then decided I HAD to watch it on the big screen.

I am just kidding. I never have even heard the name Vision until this thread, I just saw the thing on YouTube where the Avengers all try to but can't.

do people really give a shite about spoilers on a movie like this? You don't really go for its plot points or superb acting, you go see it for explosions, a few laughs and a ton of action.

This one was more of an attempt at a real story and deeper characters. I think in some ways it failed and some it succeeded.
Either way some people don't want to be told about some of the little surprises like one of the things that was said earlier in the thread. At least there should be a warning in the post if there's not one in the subject of the thread.

I think it tries to do too much. Way too many characters at once IMO. I think Ultron deserved more screentime.

Just saw it. It was fun but at the same time it sucked. That's the best way I can describe it.
