Just started watching Breaking Bad... What to expect?

Watched the first 6 episodes yesterday and really enjoying it. Seems like a dark comedy with good acting. What should I look for going forward?

As someone who joined the ride after it was already over, I can say I regret not watching it during it's live run.
I didn't get to enjoy the episodes for a long period of time in between weeks, but it was awesome without commercials.
It's probably my 2nd favorite show I've watched. Ahead of LOST, behind Game of Thrones

No, but some episodes have more of a dark comedy feel. People also use the term dramedy.

Some characters that you hate, you will later learn to appreciate if not like. Some characters that you like, you may start to hate. This effect becomes quite pronounced and is obviously done purposefully. The characters all have very long "character arcs".

Excruciatingly slow plot developments. Awesome characters. Some solid buildups/payoffs. And a fifth season that is down, but finishes fantastically.
I found it a bit overrated (mainly because people claim it's the best thing ever), but all in all its a great series with an awesome finale. I just couldn't imagine watching it in real time and waiting for so long for plots to develop.

I just watched the entire series this year as well
Expect awesomeness and some of the best acting on tv ever.
