LA is much worse than Louisiana. The paparazzi and the fact that a sizable portion there are attempting to get in the industry makes it much more likely someone will approach them.

It seems like they should do some kind of fan meet and greet at the end of filming. Lets the fans know they'll have a chance to see them later, and it promotes the film.

Yeah, do they even do signing promotions? I never hear about that for actors. Authors do it all the time and interact with their fans, but it is something I never even thought to look up for actors.
Well, I know some of the ones on nerdy shows/movies do the cons and such.
It just gets to me because you see a lot of them complain about no privacy and such. Sorry, but that is apart of your chosen field. If it is something you didn't want, you shouldn't of went into show business.

Although one of the guys with us wanted to get a picture bad and we kept having to tell him it's a bit rude, they are just people going out to eat. Well he went to the restroom and Luke Wilson goes in right after him. I thought for sure we were going to get kicked out for him approaching him in the men's room

When, exactly, would be a good time to take a picture with a celebrity? They don't want us to do it while they eat in public, while they shop in public, while they are on a walk in public, etc. etc. etc. I understand some of these, but it comes with the fame. No need to get all upset about it, especially when it's probably one of very few times while she's filming in Louisiana that she will be asked for a picture.
