Great writing! Reminds me of why I love some of the great short stories of the world.

I skipped the first 2 or 3 episodes as recommended by some on this board. Should I wait until the end of the series to watch them?

Entire History of You
Hated In The Nation
San Junipero
White Christmas
Shut Up and Dance

Top 5

The only one I've hated was 15 million merits. Trash episode

I actually loved 15 Million Merits. It's my favorite so far with Nosedive as a close second. I still haven't watched all of the Black Mirror episodes, but they remind me of the old Ray Bradbury Theatre I used to watch when I was a kid.

I think you have misread this board.

The first episode isn't highly regarded, and I agree with that.

The second episode (15 Million Merits) is fantastic. Maybe the best of the series for me, but I know some disagree.

The third episode (Entire History of You) is pretty much universally loved. Not saying that everyone thinks it's the best episode, but I don't think you'll find a single fan of the show that thinks that that episode wasn't great.

Watch the first episode last. Watch episodes 2 and 3 ASAP.

That plus Twilight Zone, Monsters, Tales From The Darkside, etc.

I love the one-off nature of the series yet how a few minor details make repeated appearances. For some reason, I just can't will myself to watch regular tv series these days.

That's my favorite episode, although I just for back into it and finished Shut Up and Dance this week.

Now it's been a couple of years so I don't remember every detail but it was the first episode to draw me in, so that may have something to do with it. It's far from the trash though.

The ending was kind of nonsense in retrospect, but why that's the case is probably not for this thread.

I loved the aesthetic and the not too far off future that was depicted in Nosedive. Bryce Dallas Howard was terrific. The ending was a bit weak, but it's one episode where I wanted to see more of the world it's set in.

I'm on season 2. The last two I watched were both great, White Bear and The Waldo Moment. The Waldo Moment seemed great given our current world of politics.

Nosedive is the most overrated, IMO. It just didn't feel all that imaginative.

Wait, people recommend skipping episodes of this show? That's silly. Just watch them all.

yeesh

You should skip the first one and waldo moment, or at least circle back to them later. The biggest mistake black mirror ever made was putting national anthem as the first episode, it is completely unlike the others and not remotely as good. IMO anyway.

San Junipero. My God.

There is no way the series tops that episode, right? Right?
