Just finished watching all 4 seasons of House of Cards

Regrettably, I'm sadly looking forward to season 5 because somehow someway, the Underwoods will find a way to beat the bullshite they're in. They're like the Clintons in that regard. They deflect, obfuscate, and create distractions to cover up their bullshite like letting an american hostage die and creating some homegrown war on terror to create a fear climate to overshadow their troubles and win an election.

I really don't get and understand why we are supposed to root for the Underwoods when they're not even anti-heroes. frick no, they are straight up villains that lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, ruin people and actually kill people. Anti-heroes still actually fight evil and destroy people that actually deserve to be destroyed. The underwoods have targeted purely innocent people without a single care in the world.

The Underwoods talent is not leading people and making America a prosperous society, their only talent is destruction of everything and everybody around themselves. Officially, Frank's Presidency has only been putting fires out and doing nothing constructive and productive.

I will give Frank Underwood this. He's an incredibly and very persuasive bullshitter with his charm and folksy language and when he had that last scene in the Roosevelt room with hammerschmidt, I knew the truth about him and he still had me on the ropes and gave one hell of an argument to shut the herald article down and I can't imagine what hammerschmidt was feeling when he didn't know what the audience knew but thankfully he was stronger than that and called Frank's lying bullshite.

Oh and Claire Underwood has no soul at all. She's hands down one of the most evil people ever and you hope that women like her are at least a very rare rarity in DC. She's one of the most anti-women people you will ever meet given how many women she's destroyed in 4 seasons. Women need Claire as a feminist ally like a fish needs a wood-chopper.

Will Conway may be questionable himself but there's no doubt the Underwoods are evil and rotten to the core and has no business calling the White House their home for another four years. I hope hammerschmidt can make his article stick to them.
