This show is great, it's like a slow burn. I am concerned that there will not be a season 3, they wrapped up most story lines.

They wrapped up most storylines in S1 as well, theyll find something else

They havent explored Marlo's past as a drug dealer, there's a storyline

There are like 9 Harry Bosch novels. Plenty more stories.

Season 3 already has a green light

LINK

Several of the guys on the production team worked on The Wire, so I would anticipate the seasons to be similar with the same characters but a fresh plot for each season that wraps back on previous seasons. I think this is one of the best shows on right now.

I like that they are changing details from the books and aren't locked into those stories but are using them for inspiration. The second season was better than the first and I think that change was part of the reason.

There are 20 something books, Bosch also appears in The Lincoln Lawyer series if anyone feels like reading.

I liked season 1 but season 2 was much better and was probably one of the best seasons of any show I've watched in a while.

I forget which books exactly, but I remember reading S1 was inspired by 3 of the Bosch novels. S2 is about the same. They have plenty to work with.

Yeah actually I think you can see which books were used for the season right at the end of the credit roll
