Jupiter Ascending might be the worst movie I have ever seen

It is not even laughably bad. It is just bad. I heard that Eddie Redmayne's handlers were trying to get the release date of this movie pushed back to after the Oscars so it wouldn't hurt his chances of winning for Theory of Everything. Hard to believe he made those two movies in the same year. He was easily the worst part of this incredibly boring movie.
I can't decide which movie I hated worse: this one, The Fountain, or Transformers 4.

You know its a terrible sci-fi movie when even I can't get into it. I can enjoy almost any sci-fi movie. I go in with low expectations just wanting to see a spectacle. This ridiculous movie teased me with glimpses of cool sci-fi elements but chose to focus all of its time on this incredibly boring storyline that meant nothing to me as a viewer. I hate love stories period, especially in sci-fi/fantasy/action movies, and that was a primary focus 75% of the time. The other 25% of the time is her in a will dispute with inter-galactic siblings she never met. There is even a long scene where goes through the intergalactic version of the DMV!

I'll put it this way.
I've seen Battlefield Earth two times (once in the theaters ) all the way through.
I tried watching Jupiter Ascending and couldn't make it through. Worst movie of the last decade for sure.
The Waschosky siblings went sour after Matrix.
I made it through Grown Ups 2 but it was bad, equally as Bad as Jack and Jill. Which sadly made less people see "That's My Boy" which bombed horribly and was the best comedic sandler movie since Big Daddy or WaterBoy.

Worse than AI or IM3?
I enjoyed the hell out of AI. IM3 wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either.

You are clearly an artsy type. The Fountain was what I imagine liberals in San Francisco drive their Prius to watch and then smell their own farts like in South Park. I hated every second of The Fountain.

I stopped watching Adam Sandler movies a very long time ago. I have not seen either of these movies. It's hard for me to get into a lot of comedies. I maybe see one or two a year.

I can rest easy at night in the safe, and secure, knowledge that God willing I won't watch any of these movies.

Turned it off after 10 minutes. Wasn't worth my bandwidth.

I'mm watching Percy Jackson and the sea of monsters which is pretty bad. At least it has Alexandra Daddario.

Those two Percy movies are so disappointing. They could easily be all kinds of bad arse if they were more competently made.

About to hop on a plane and have this to watch. Oh well, there's always sleep.

They always play the worst movies on planes

The Fountain is downright horrible.

To date, of the 10+ attempts of converting a young adult book series into a good movie series, Harry Potter has been the sole success. Every single other one has failed pretty terribly.
Percy Jackson
Twilight
Vampire Academy
Seventh Son
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones
Golden Compass
Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events
Inkheart
City of Ember
Eragon
I Am Number Four
Every single one a bad movie, and most bombed at the box office. No doubt I am missing some more losers, but I am quite certain Harry Potter was the only winner, and even it doesn't even remotely compare to the books.
