Saw Pet Sematary for the first time when I was about 12 and my parents were gone for the evening. It scared the ever living shite out of me, especially the wife's sister.

only if they did it sort of comedic style like Tucker and Dale vs Evil.

I agree, with keeping maximum overdrive a little darker and with some more action of course.

Looking forward to T&D 2, even though it can't top the first.

I just feel Pratt would be a solid in that lead. Now casting the rest of the film..

Wonder who would be an ideal sleazy bible salesman..

Can't someone please make a movie of "The Long Walk"

I would love this, but I think it would be seen--by those unfamiliar with King's work--as a ripoff of "The Hunger Games" series or the "Divergent" series.

Mrs. Todd's Shortcut would be kind of trippy. Not sure how that would translate to film, though.

That's one like three Shinning and Carrie that doesn't need a remake, but the other two had one, so oh well.

Andres Muschietti says he wants to remake Pet Sematary. I actually just finished reading the book for the first time, and based on early reviews of IT I would definitely like to see what he could do with this.

Don't know about that. Pet Sematary still holds up to this day.

I'd rather see David F Sandberg direct Pet Sematary. Muschietti uses too much CGI in his movies. Sandberg is a stickler for practical effects

After it pulls in about 200 million domestically, they'll surely grant him the directors chair again

I'd rather a maximum overdrive, with Chris pratt.

I think only Jennifer Lawrence can pull off the over the top facial expressions of the waitress when she was melting.

The only name I can really think of right now that could do the character justice is Tommy Lee Jones

This is a movie that I don't think should be messed with. I'd love to see Salem's Lot or Storm of the Century re-done for theaters though.

Pet Semetery is the scariest move of all time to me. This is probably due to the age I was when I first watched it and it was probably the first true horror movie I watched alone. But to this day I wont watch it again.

After seeing him in "The Leftovers" give this guy a crack at it.

I admittedly really don't give Pet Sematary its due when talking horror movies. That movie terrified me as a kid.

He should just cue them up: Carrie, The Shining, Salem's Lot, Christine, Cujo, Children of the Corn, Firestarter, Lawnmower Man, The fricking Stand - I mean, why stop at just IT and Pet Semetary - where is his ambition?

The whole atmosphere of that movie is extremely creepy. A killer demon possessed kid that bites out an old man's throat helps too.
