Is The Office the Best Network Comedy of All Time?

Even with the weaker seasons after Michael left, I still think it is better than Seinfeld, and I loved Seinfeld.
It had a softer edge to it that made it more of a story and not just straight up comedy.
It is number one on my list. Seinfeld, Cheers, Frasier round out my top 4.
But, The Office is on top. Parks & Rec and 30 Rock were good, but they paled in comparison, in my opinion.

It's not better than Seinfeld.

I loved Seinfeld and it was my number 1 for a long time.
The Office replaced it and is more enjoyable overall to me.
To each his own, I guess.

No. Seinfeld, Community, Arrested Development, and Scrubs are all better.

Um, no. Arrested Development and Seinfeld are far superior.

The first 2 seasons have a case. Seinfeld is imo

Scrubs
GOAT. Just because it couldn't attract all the non-watchers by cast/premise doesn't mean it wasn't greatness.

Seinfeld, Parcs and Rec, News Radio, Scubs, Frasier, 30 Rock just to name recent comedies > The Office from Network TV.
I think the Office lived off a shock and belief and then later well-deserved appreciation that it didn't suck compared to the British version (which many expected Network boobs to do - bastardize and ruin a great Brit show like they had ruined some Aussie shows.)
The Office got a lot of goodwill for not sucking and it had built in fans from the original. I know it's obvious to say this since it was a remake show but apart from that format, Office wasn't really original and pretty tame even by Network TV standards.

Those last seasons are closer to Caroline in the City than Seinfeld.

It's second to Seinfeld for me

I meant overall. No, those later seasons are not better than Seinfeld. But, even if you include them, I like it better than Seinfeld.

Always Sunny is the longest running in the history of television, so.....

Was always underappreciated. It was on it's last legs but I wonder how it would've played out if Brynn Hartman wasn't so terrible.
