The best/worst part was the main guy always yacking about a gumbo party.

Or the terrible way they tried to fake our pronunciation of words

You've never seen Kville?

As soon as Anthony Anderson explained that "New Orleans is like a gumbo" I was out.

Any movie or TV show that uses that tired cliche is banned from my house.

The scene with the GM showing her, her number 43 and he says 1 number off of Jackie...they made it a racial topic. Then when she says I have been waiting for this my entire life is such a cliche I just wanted to do this...

That pilot is without a doubt the most cringe inducing horrendous hour of television I've ever seen

It was pitched as a show after that girl pitcher at the little league world series last year got all that attention. Looks really bad to me.

But they've got some crazy stuff coming out this Fall. Macgyver and Lethal Weapon tv shows, 2 shows about time travel(one with Jules Verne as the main character chasing Jack the Ripper through time), etc

No, I found a pic and typed that on it in about two minutes. It's just a typo. I'm going to leave it that way because it wasn't funny anyway.

I saw them clock a pitch of hers in the previews at 86 mph. If that was her screwball, then the show is utterly unbelievable. If that is her fastball, the show is still unbelievable because they simply can't pitch that fast. The only way a woman makes it in the majors as a pitcher is with a knuckleball.

Hey get out of here with your logic buddy. As the show clearly states, "It's 2016 now."

The first episode featured:

A cop drinking hard liquor in uniform on bourbon street, saying it's an everyday part of the job, and making fun of a rookie for not drinking.

A black man saying the line "we put hot sauce on everything" while eating hot sauce and grits at his desk on duty in the police station.

And the piece de resistance: the plot was about a prominent black female singer found murdered in a nightclub on bourbon street. At the end of the episode the cops find out it was actually a plot by a rich upper class white family to try and murder black people to keep other black people from returning after Katrina.

Yes, but we should all tune in and walk around in the backyard till it's over, to show we aren't racists. Just like the last Presidency.

And it's incredibly ridiculous to think an 11 year old could pitch for the Cubs but y'all love Rookie of the Year

RotY is a children's movie. Is this show targetting children as its primary audience? I honestly can't see who a target demo would be for this dook.
