He's really big into dinosaurs but idk if it would be considered scary or not.

There were some kids close to that age in the movie I went last night. Should be able to handle it.

The first one gave me nightmares when I was 8, but I loved it. I didn't find World to be as scary, but I'm 30 now Several people had young kids in the theater last night, and none of them seemed terrified.

I had a seven year old watch it the other day and was fine, the eight year old covered her eyes for the T-rex part, they all liked it (original)

Not sure on the five year old. But I wouldn't say it's "bad" just may be a little scary.

Same, I literally had nightmares about Raptors hunting me down.

I wanted to take my 4 year old to see it with me, because she loves dinosaurs, but my wife was not having any of that.

I assume we're talking about the original. I saw Jurassic Park when I was about 5 or 6, after much begging. The parents were originally hesitant. It was pretty intense for me. Maybe a little too intense. But I loved it.

Dinosaurs are scary, and movies now a days are pretty realistic looking.
My 4 year old loves dinosaurs but i wouldn't even think about taking him. He'd piss his pants if he saw that in the theater, and i don't think that's an exaggeration or expression, i think he'd literally piss his pants.

He about had a heart attack when my wife decided it would be a good idea to take him through the dinosaur part at the Audubon Zoo. I told her that was dumb, but she insisted. His whole body was trembling in fear as we walked through and he couldn't wait to get out.

I saw it when I was 3 in theaters. I was too young for that shite. I remember my parents got it for me when I was 5 and I could get through it but I'd leave the room or close my eyes. I remember the first time I got through it without any issues was 6 and I was by myself at home. I was quite pleased with myself.

My dad took me to the original when I was 5.

Pretty sure that's why my parents got divorced.

But it was something I will never forget, even if it scared the living shite out of me haha.

I hear you. I have no problem not taking her, I do wish she was older so we could enjoy it together.

Problem is my daughter is completely random.

One day she'll be running in terror from a dragonfly, the next day she will try and climb the lion's cage at the zoo.

I just recently let my 6 year old watch Jurassic Park. He loved and has not had any ill effects from it.

I'll probably take him to see Jurassic World soon because he handled it so well.

They had kids younger than 5 in the IMAX one I just got out of. Just a bunch of jump scenes
