Nothing against one of my favorite movies, but it seems like since it was so well made it can't be touched. And it's been almost 40 years

Great whites in general generate a lot of interest and primal fear

Would a general rogue shark get ur interest ?

We really need a CGI shark movie like we need a hole in the head. No. Some things can't be recreated. Some things belong solely in their time and place, and that is what makes them great.

We just had three Sharknado movies not to mention all the Sharktopus, Megashark, Two Headed Shark, etc crap from Syfy.

I actually say yes. With all the original movies that should've been left alone, I would love to see a new version of Jaws. Done well and not over the top CGI of course, but dramatic, intense and with a stellar cast keeping as much to the original as possible but putting a new fresh take on it.

No. The movie holds up quite well.

I'm not talking about a Jaws remake.
Talking about a no CGI movie with a rogue great white.

Yeah, I don't know what a remake could do except add CGI.

Plus we had Deep Blue Sea which was fricking awesome.

I'd watch it, but it isn't really necessary, since there was deep blue sea.

I imagine a jaws sequel would be kind of like the King Kong remake from a few years back, decent movie but just way too much cgi

Hell no. The beauty of Jaws was that it went unseen for most of the film. I don't want some Deep Blue Sea CGI crap trying to recreate that magic.
