I liked Garden State. I did feel like a lot of people built it up more because they wanted to be the hipsters that really liked Garden State and nobody else could get it, which was kind of annoying at the time.

I thought Peter Sarsgaard was really good in it and is an underrated actor. It's a good movie with some relatable characters and some cool cinematography.

I would say a few other movies in this genre are the very controversial on this board Little Miss Sunshine along with Sideways and Outside Providence

I really wanted to like Adventureland, but it was just too boring and dragged out.

I am surprised Zach Braff hasn't directed any movies since then. He seems pretty talented.

Since you liked Garden State, I recommend checking out The Last Kiss. It's also a Zach Braff movie plus it stars a very hot Rachel Bilson

Natalie Portman's character is the love of my life.
More than anything else, I think this is why most guys like this movie. Portman's character was impossible not to fall for.
