Yeah I watched it before they took it off last year, saw they put it back on so I watched it again yesterday. Yes McCandless made many mistakes but its still a great story.

It's an interesting story but McCandles pisses me off a lot of the time in it. I though Into Thin Air was a far better Krakauer book

Is Society a Vedder song? Did he write the lyrics? I've heard (I think) that it was a poem, and he set it to music?

Agreed, could barely put it down.
Good movie, but the guy was an idiotic romantic who was unprepared for the situation he got himself into.
