Lol at the notion there are 20+ shows better than the west wing.

The Brink was better than 80% of the comedies on tv now, but it only got 1 season

Sesame Street at 20....really? It's no where close to a top 100 show.

Anyone 50 and under grew up with that show. I'd say its well earned its way to Top 100 even if you grow out of it.

I agree. I was responding to a post specifically about Longevity and influence

I'm ok with the top 10.

They nailed the top 2. I love Lucy absolutely deserves to be the highest rated sitcom. Breaking bad as the third highest show from the "golden age" is accurate.

I don't know/care much about twilight zone or Star Trek but their list is solid enough for me to take their word for it.

I think the show has to be complete in order for it to make the Top 10. It has to not completely shite the bed in the end, and if GoT does, it's going a good 10 spots down the list when it is all said and done.

The Simpsons is an exception due to its legacy already being secured no matter what it does, but its really the only one.

Definitely a difference between comedies and dramas haha. If a comedy sucks after 10 seasons, you still have 10 great seasons of comedy. If GOT tanks the ending, it all feels like a massive disappointment.

No Scrubs, no care. And the fact that doctor who isnt top 30 rules this list to suck in my books

Family Ties was a good show but it could be described as meh after all.

Taxi, WKRP, Night Court...I'm sorry but they are close to Cheers and Frasier...need to be near Top 50.

And it's funny that MASH was once considered the greatest sitcom of all time and now it's so lowly regarded.

In terms of Alf.

(That's the original Arrested Development) - Alf is a grounbreaking show and should be top 50. If 2000's TV was like 80's TV...and ALF came along in 2005, everyone would flip out and worship it on the internet.

This is a decent list overall. I think eventually Westworld will be on this list, Band of Brothers is way way way too low, Sons of Anarchy should be on there, Futurama shouldn't be on this list especially at 33, and King of the Hill and Bobs Burgers should be on there though.

That show went off a cliff after Season 2.

If Days of Our Lives and All My Children were on the list, then I'd agree that Sons should be on there too...as a slightly better totally ridiculous nonsensical "I just woke from coma and am a different person" soap opera.

Well I saw Justified on the list too, which is a solid show too, but if they were on it, I thought Sons of Anarchy should be too. It is still a better show than Justified IMO.

Westworld and Stranger Things for that matter I fear may have Season 1 Syndrome. Great in a limited scope, but I don't see any way they could be 5 season shows. If Westworld didn't have another season, that ending would be wholly satisfying. I just hope they don't bury it like The Walking Dead, Prison Break, and Heroes.
