Shocking. Go rewatch Adam Sandler's films and then notice how ridiculously racist they are. And on top of it, the racist, cripple, gay, and fat jokes aren't even funny.

If you're going to be racist, at least be funny. I'll forgive racism so long as it's either clever or has a legit point. The payoff doesn't mean anything. it is the pursuit. None of that matters anyway. They can whine all they want but they agreed to do it, and sandler and his crew said leave. I imagine they could very well be in breach of contract (if they had one) so letting them walk away free and clear is gracious if you ask me
Technically it is what they call a BFOQ, so I hope they don't waste everyone's time on a lawsuit

Yeah, no shite he just comes up with a vacation idea and then takes about 2 days to write a script around his vacation with his buddies. I'm guessing a conversation goes "hey Drew. I was feeling like vacationing in Africa and also making 30 fricking million dollars. You down?"
And his films are about as fun as a bucket of aids.

Emphasis on "doesn't try". He hasn't worked on a movie in the past 10 years that wasn't put out in the first draft and took more than a weekend to write (Funny People being the exception).

Every other sentence in this post is a terrible defense of your first statement. A lot of people don't think his movies are 'fun.' Its great that he figured that he didn't have to try to make good movies and good just use them as a subsidized vacation for his friends, but it doesn't seem like something to commend him for especially when the end product is shite. We don't laud athletes who sign huge contracts then spend the summer barbecuing and having a bunch of fun with there friends.
In fairness, I agree with your last sentence. But no one on this board is going to become his buddy. I'd rather watch some a-hole who at least makes good movies, since how great the guy is has no relevance to how entertained I am.
