If we are all being honest, the shite he has Rob Schneider do in his flicks really isn't all that far off from Mickey Rooney's Yunioshi in Breakfast at Tiffany's. It's possible that walking off will cause a performance they will find even more offensive b/c he'll just cast some of his cracker buddies to replace them.

I love that Adam Sandler and Kevin James are best friends. I bet they just laugh together about the terrible movies they make that gross millions.

I've heard stories and stories

Waiters, military people, etc. just say he's an awesome guy

Tom green said all of the Hollywood people at his wedding treated his parents like shite because they weren't famous except for adam sandler...who also danced with his mom.

Sandler movies blow but they don't give me the impression they're made with any contempt for the audience

They just goof around

Calling this satire is an insult to satire. Good satire is witty, and satire at all at least makes some kind of point. This is bad parody at best.

The PC criticism may have merit in a greater sense, but this stuff is probably simply garbage.

Yeah. I know some people who know Kevin James very well, and they have conveyed some pretty hilarious Adam Sandler stuff to me. One story they told was how Sandler game up in conversation with Kevin James at a table with an older guy who started rambling about how much he loved the Opera lady. James immediately called Sandler, and he did Opera lady on command.

Eddie Murphy wouldn't even participate in the 40th anniversary special. Adam Sandler will do Opera lady over a phone for a random person he's never met.

You laugh, but he'd probably call Mel Brooks and together would make the funniest movie since Blazing Saddles.

Sandler seems to be one of the most laid back Hollywood people out there.

If they don't like it, they can go back to wherever the hell they came from.

I thought it was already a "hate crime", you mean it isn't?

Just think how busy Tom Cruise is going to be when he has to start arresting everyone for what they are going to think in the future...

I didn’t want to cry but the feeling just came over me.”
This whole paragraph is pathetic. From beginning to end. Pathetic.

It would be nice if AS didn't exploit the cheapest available material for laughs but that's not what he does so they never should have associated themselves with an Adam Sandler film. It's a bad idea for them not just because it is likely to suck - but based on his Waterboy resume you can expect he'll exploit the worst stereotypes he can find for cheap laughs.

FWIW the weirdest thing about the Waterboy is him getting an actress like Cathy Bates to participate.

I hate it when people get offended by comedy. I obviously have no problem with people being offended by Adam Sandler movies.

So, this person didn't think that before someone told her she should think that?

That's funny.
