Outside of good ole fashioned Alabama racism, what's your problem with Finn? I don't ever remember them championing him as a black hype guy. They never mention his race in the movie. If he was a white guy would you have been OK with the role.

He kills his own dad and then gets blasted with a laser shotgun at point blank range and basically absorbs the blow.

Then Rey picks up the Saber. Ray is force aware and already very skilled in hand to hand combat with a staff.

Kylo, while still bleeding everywhere and fricked in the head handles her pretty easily, although he does have a penchant for playing with his victims and an egotistical rage problem. He's on the offensive the entire fight and he's not trying to kill her. He's trying to just beat her and take her as a student. It isn't until he stops fighting her and she regains her composure that she's able to turn the fight around.

There was nothing stupid about it.

Star Wars just became the cool thing to hate on. And all the haters can go frick themselves. TFA was a great addition to the franchise.
