Maybe I need to watch it from the beginning, but I don't get all the hype.

yeah that would probably help

It's a plot-driven show. If you just jump in at some random point in the middle I could see where you'd have no clue what was going on and therefore not be interested. It's not some sitcom where the story is secondary to the jokes. If you want to try the show, start from the beginning.
ETA: But you should probably just give up.

Wait, so you're trying to tell me knowing what the hell is going on helps?

I watched the last 5 minutes of an episode the other day. 2/10 would not watch again.

Well if you like shows that you can randomly jump into without any knowledge of what's going on, then there's plenty of other garbage on t.v. for you to watch

Maybe CSI: Westeros will be more in tune with your tastes. Try that one.

I'm sure there's some reality TV he could jump right into the middle of.

I've watched every episode. I think I'm pretty much over it; I was bored with the season 3 premiere. GOT suffers from some serious flaws, too many characters having too many entanglements chief among them.

Not really. Just watching snippets or jumping in at season 3 is no way to watch a plot/character driven show. TH, you are smarter than that.

Rex it was a set up episode. This season will be the best by far.

Seriously, seasons 3 will be like Season 3 of The Wire...in more ways than 1.

I think it's the "cool" thing to do now - start a "I don't get the hype from GoT" thread.
It's like every week now.

Yeah, you definitely have to watch it from season 1.

I know, so it's obvious this guy is trolling yet everyone bit on it
