No, frick them for even charging money for one with ads. Netflix and Amazon Prime are way cheaper.

I wouldn't but my mom probably would since she already pays for Hulu. I'd just keep using her account

Hulu doesn't really compete with NetFlix and Prime though. Their focus is on current TV shows and is most useful if you've cut the cord. The only other way to access a lot of the content Hulu has if you don't have cable is either to do it illegally, or go directly to the TV network site for each show and watch on/through your computer.

If you are already paying for it you probably think $3 for no ads is great. If you aren't already paying for it you probably weren't going to start anytime soon anyway.

Yes I would. Hulu offers current programming. Couple that with Netflix and HBOnow and I'm a happy camper.

Apparently it isn't ad free. Some of the programming would still come with 15-30 second ads

That's an interesting move. I read that the majority of their income was from ads, not subscriptions.

Nahhh. I'm not going to cough up a few more dollars to ditch the ads. They don't bug me that much.
I went back to Hulu so I could watch Difficult People. I may drop it again after that show ends. We already have Netflix, Amazon Prime and cable.

still 7 shows with ads: New Girl, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Grey’s Anatomy, Once Upon a Time, Marvel's Agents of Shield, and Grimm. They won't have in ad interruptions though. 15 sec at beginning and 30 sec at end.

I was anti-Hulu as much as the rest of you but I converted because they had some shows that can't be seen anywhere else.

The ads are horrifically annoying because you get bombarded by the same ads over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. I now have advertisements in my dreams when I sleep.

I doubt I keep Hulu for the long run, but I can see paying for it from time to time to burn through a few series.

Not if you consider Netflix charges 11.99 for streaming up to four devices at once(which I have to have because of my kids). I'm not sure how many devices you can stream at once with Hulu, but if it's 4, I'm cool with the price.
