Meanwhile all I could think is how he is blatantly ignoring he needlessly had Hamilton take off her top and Sarah Conner always has to be saved by a man.

The entire terminator universe is a mess.

I mean, they needed the terminator to come back from the future to even build it all the first place... so how did they build it in the original timeline?

Computers would have had a backup file.

Well not to nit-pick, but it wasn't a few minutes - Reese was in love remember?

And, well...when you have a Terminator machine that will not stop for one second (even for you to frick) in killing you...that might be the rare situation where you don't have time to frick - that and skydiving.

I mean Reese is a hypocrite, he screams at Sarah about not being totally vigilente every second and then he's like - screw it, maybe he went to the movies, lets frick.

Terminator is one of the best movies of the 80's but that love scene is SOOOOOOOO out of place considering the tone and frantic nature of the movie.

I mean people complained that Tom Cruise had a love scene after playing volleyball, it didn't fit, he was sweaty and weird...imagine when a Terminator is chasing you!

Are we seriously complaining about a scene in a sci-fi/horror movie where the lead female shows her tits?

You're missing that this is a movie.

The simple answer for this is the the reality that the Terminator series takes place was an attempt by the Matrix to keep the humans plugged in once Neo exposed that "reality" was all a computer program.

The machines then changed the matrix program to reflect a huge war between man and machines when in actual reality, none of this was happening. Humans were still plugged into the matrix.

It's important because Reese has to sire John Conner. What is Cameron supposed to do here, imply that they frick?

Why didn't they just send back like 50 terminators?

Because sending a terminator back in time is expensive and takes forever to get cleared through all the red tape. You want the Skynet accounting bots heads to explode or something? Come on man!!!

Not only that but how could it go back in time if it doesn't have living tissue?

What, if anything, does living tissue have to do with time?

Your entire post makes it seem like you've only seen the first terminator. You know she's a drastically different character by t2
