It took 85 welders and 3.2 million pounds of steel to construct the sprawling Deepwater Horizon set in the parking lot of the Six Flags New Orleans amusement park, derelict since Hurricane Katrina. The sprawling behemoth was built 85% to scale of the actual rig, featuring a functional helicopter pad. It also played a significant role in the film's sizable budget, reported at $156 million.

I can't see it doing well internationally but I do plan on seeing it. But this weekend Mrs Peregrine's school for Peculiar children won out.

I think it'll do well domestically, the word of mouth is going to be the key here. I can tell you that I enjoyed it alot and would recommnd it to others without hesitation.

yeah, you can't miss it.

it's kind of in passing though, but you distinctly hear miles, saban's names.

which I imagine goes on alot on a rig with a few LSU fans

The state gave them like 35 million, so that helps.
