Heros Discussion (Currently on season 2)

I hear it's downhill after season 1 and there's a huge hatred of Peter but I'm not seeing it yet. And season 2 so far (episode 4) isn't bad.

P.S: I stuck with the site until the end, it's hated and justifiably so, but it's decent entertainment until the end

I don't even remember where I stopped. I watched it when it aired and haven't watched since. I need to do a rewatch so I can fully appreciate how bad it got. I know I gave up somewhere but don't remember where.

If I remember right, season 2 starts out ok. But that was the season of the writers guild strike, and they had to cut that season short. It never really recovered after that, because the writing was never the same after the strike. I mean, I still watched it up until the end of the series, but the bar that the 1st season set was so high, that the other seasons never could live up to them. Throw in the fact that the ne writers would do crazy stuff like continuously changing Ali Larter's character, and having to go back and "neuter" the powers of certain characters.
But yeah, season two wasn't that bad up until they had to cut it short.

Season 2 really wasn't bad, just not nearly as good as 1. Season 3 was a big WTF?!?

Yeah season 2 gets more hate than it deserves. Season 3 just falls off a cliff though.

All of this, although I would say the crapfest of later seasons wasn't because season 1 set the bar so high but simply because it wasn't good writing.
