Just saw this movie last night and was blown away with how great the acting and story line were.

"Hell or High Water" is a lean pulp Western story of two brothers who turn to bank robbery to save the family ranch from the bankers.

Jeff Bridges is as good as you thought he'd be as the wisecracking old Texas Ranger tracking them down in the weeks before he's put out to pasture in retirement.

Chris Pine is excellent and a long way from the Starship Enterprise. He plays a broken man with a dangerous scheme so that his boys won't suffer the disease of being poor. And Ben Foster as Pine's brother cements himself as one of America's great character actors."

A true classic modern day western that I would recommend to anyone.

Got a chance to catch this on Sunday as well. Very well acted, amazing shots, and a very well paced story line. One of my favs this year so far. The chemistry between the duos on either side (Pine and Foster, Bridges and Birmingham) worked out well also.

An interesting take on life in west Texas. Had some great dialogue, both comedic and philosophic. I enjoyed the hell out of it

i thought Chris Pine was fantastic ..... something was missing for me that straddled the line between making it really good and great. Good music, scenery and performances help make it one of the best films ive seen this year.

Probably one of the best overall movies and performances I've seen in years. Bridges was awesome as usual. Pine was great too. Solid story, not too long, good music, and nice scenery.

Very good flick with a very good script. Only thing I didn't like was Pine, who looked a bit too much like a movie star compared to the rest of the cast. But the movie offers a lot to different kinds of audiences.

Saw it tonight ... Great movie without comparing it to the summer swill these days, but one can't help notice that difference ...

Really good movie. Best of the year so far, but that really isn't a huge accomplishment so far in 2016

Just saw this for lunchtime with my wife.

For all of the "Redbox Warriors" -- do yourself a favor and see this in the theater. Visually beautiful movie. Excellent soundtrack. Very balanced cast -- there's a lot of talent in this movie. Likable characters, fun and thought provoking dialogue. Even the "small parts" are perfectly cast (talking about the waitresses).

Was surprised Hollywood still knows how to make an enjoyable movie that isn't a remake, reboot, sequel, or comic book movie.

solid movie, an easy 4 stars. Not often do you evenly pull for the good and bad guys.

How these movies don't make more at the box office stuns me.

The waitress at the T-Bone Grill stole the show!

Good points. Plenty of directors would have ruined it by stretching it an extra 30 minutes.
