He didn't write or direct that movie.

Now if you want to argue casting, script, and direction in the prequels v Snyder's DC universe id be happy to do that.

Christensen eats a lot of shite for those films but it's not like any of his costars were trying either.

You can't blame Christensen.

Natalie Portman is an Oscar winning actress and she was wooden and terrible in those movies.

You blame the director.

The only thing close to Eisenberg's Luthor is Jar Jar Binks. I think DC is so far taking the cake.

Agreed, Portman checked out my episode 2. I would argue that Liam Neeson and Ewam McGregor are talented actors who at least gave good performances with the material given.

They were both awful....as well as their movies.

Keanu Reeves has ruined any movie in which he's attempted a British accent.

Yeah, even over the DCAU Clancy Brown performance which was great, All Star Superman is still definitely my favorite interpretation of the character. That is just everything Luthor should be: LINK

Between casting Hayden Christensen and his wooden acting skills, writing scripts with some of the clunkiest dialogue ever, and creating Jar Jar Binks....

George Lucas did not just murder the prequels, he raped and sodomized them and left them for dead face down in a ditch.

It's possible that his entire family is mentally challenged.

Or perhaps the poster is insane and just thinks his entire family loves Eisenberg as Lex.

II was thinking he should have been Lex's son, who took over for a Lex that passed away before Superman came around, but was a thorn in Batman's side (both in business and crime)

I didn't like the location of Gotham relative to Metropolis at all. Philly to NY would have been a better distance if you are making it close.

Lex was ruined in that movie. I also think that the Joker should have been a little older than Leto if we are going with an old Batman.

The script being terrible doesn't mean Hayden also isn't to blame for the delivery of the horrible writing.

Both were equally terrible.

He was good in Shattered Glass but that role played into his acting style similar to Cage sometime picks the right movie.

Eisenberg was just as terrible in BVS. Once again the writing didn't help. I still don't understand the creepy jolly rancher scene.

Depp was originally eyed for the role in Dracula but refused to work with Winona after their break up.

Hopkins, Oldman and Depp would have been an epic casting in 1992.

He was so campy and goofy along with his henchmen that it's hard to watch. It's a shame because there is obviously so much about the movie that is great, but Hackman/lex was terrible.

I like Dexter, but she was just awful.
