I watched this again last night and must say as far as fantastic, over the top, cheesy 80's action movies go it's always in my top 10. I know Under Siege is the best of Seagal as from a bigger budget/production standpoint but Hard to Kill is right there with it. The synopsis is just beautiful as well.

When police detective Mason Storm (Steven Seagal) uncovers ties among corrupt cops, the mob and charismatic politician Vernon Trent (Bill Sadler), a hit is ordered on his family. During the attack, Storm's wife is killed, and the cop himself is severely injured. After waking up from a years-long coma, Storm, aided by gorgeous nurse Andy Stewart (Kelly LeBrock), slowly gets back on his feet and plots revenge against those who wronged him, particularly the duplicitous Sen. Trent.

Hard to Kill is a good one, but my favorite Seagal movie has to be Under Seige 2. The cliches and stupid one liners are non stop and frankly the villain is awesome.

Hard to Kill was always my favorite of his until US2. Plus he drives that awesome Mustang right?

I prefer Under Siege 2. Its Seagl and Katherine Hiegl's best work.

Is that the one with "screwface"?

They all blend together, though that one and the one based in NYC where "Richie" was the bad guy stand out.

Under Siege, only because of the "cake" scene.

That one scene single, hand, idly got me through puberty.

C'mon man. I think we can all appreciate what the late 80's early 90's action stars' contributions to cinema. What a time to be alive!
