How is their not a thread about this show yet? This is the series that leads me to putting movies on a backburner for a while.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll go with Hard Knocks over the Johnny Football documentary I was watching on Netflix.

I watched it tonight. Rodgers seems like a cool guy but the coaching staff seems like a bunch of total cheeseballs. Also, shoutout Al Woods who’s somehow still in the league.

Other than Sala and Hackett, I have never heard of any of the coaches. Rodgers is an interesting guy and worth the watch.

I remember when a reporter asked Robert Saleh about being a black head coach when he was still the DC for SF; he laughed and said he was Persian. Reporter just dumbfounded.

Is the guy that showed up in the helicopter, the same man that played Sabertooth in the Wolverine movies? Liev Schreiber.

It’s kind of the same thing every year. I do like it though.

He really changes his voice for the narration. Don’t even sound like the same guy.

I hope they don't spend too much time on Aaron Rodgers. Sports talk radio has spent the last half decade talking about the possibility of him leaving GB. If he hadn't gone there, they'd be a great team for the show.

Just looked at their website. I agree, that's a really generic staff. I think it would be considered a pretty inexperienced staff. Five of their positions coaches have less than 10 years in the league.

Former LSU center Ben Wilkerson is an assistant OL coach. He was a big part of the 2003 BCS Championship team. If you include the guys like him, there's 14 of them with under 10 years.

He dominated the coverage in the first episode but its nice since I don't think Rodgers has ever been this candid with the cameras.

He really does. I had no idea that he was the voice of GOD for NFL Films.

The jets have sucked for so long. Isn't it crazy, that the first muslim head coach in NFL history is responsible for changing the trajectory of the New York Jets?

I confess, I stole the joke.

He said something about his mom not recognizing his voice on hard knocks.
