I loved the episode. I liked seeing someone put Penguin in a position where he feels helpless. I think Taylor pulled it off nicely. I also like how it is setting up with Gordon having to go against Penguin knowing what the Penguin did for him (and what he had to do for the Penguin).
Also Bruce's storyline might actually get interesting with this new guy going after him. And like I said earlier, Alfred bitch slapping Selina was nuts.

Blonde girl just seems so much older than Bruce. He's definitely getting honey trapped.

Taylor's doing a bang-up job as Penguin these days. Made me forget that we'd lost Jerome. If they're able to write Jim out of the situation that he put himself in between Penguin and the law, they should get an Emmy.
Looking forward to Paul Reubens showing up as Penguin's dad. Can't wait to see how they work him in.

Silver St. Cloud was a major love interest in the comics in the 70's. Nice how they placed her next to some normal looking school girls to make her stand out as attractive.

I'm really impressed with what they've done with the character of the penguin. As far as batman villains go it's the joker then everyone else which after a while gets a little old. Making me care about the character arc of the penguin is making the show fun to watch.

I credit the actor with this transformation. He is a stellar Penguin. He truly embodies that character.

Also, that was crazy as hell when Penguin cut off his right hand man's hand. I knew he was about to do something crazy when he kept making him drink, but damn that was brutal.

I had the same issue in NOLA last night, but FOX showed the replay after 10:00 and my DVR captured it. If not, I think fox.com has the episodes.
