yeah, good point, but he was introduced in the same season...I read the book and it was still shocking but not quite on the level i'm talking about
I mean...major character, out of nowhere. oberyn was fighting to the death so it was a 50/50. he had it won so him losing was shocking...it wasn't shocking that they would kill a character that's been around for 1 season and isn't a major player.
damn, storm of swords was awesome. 2 awesome seasons of television to do it justice...red wedding, purple wedding, daeny taking unsullied, oberyn vs. the mountain, Tyrion killing tywin and shae.

I don't want them to kill jon or anyone...i'm pointing out that the outcome was pretty predictable so they really had to make it look like jon was going to lose so instead of having the vale ride with him at the outset they kind of skimped over sansa not telling jon this was available to him so they could have someone rescue the day after putting jon in an impossible situation.

I consider myself a dormant maester in that I finished all the books so fast back in 2011 that I've forgotten many details. That said, I'm not taking any of these theories to heart as spoilers. I most likely won't even remember reading it in here first when I see it on TV.
And if any of my far-fetched guesses actually happen, it was pure luck.

Yeah. It would be nice if everyone would quit commenting on spoilers in even general terms.

Ya, i'm not as worried about them as most people. But even saying "they are posted in here" generally give people a good idea of what they are.
