I didn't really want to start the thread, but the Maester thread started becoming a bit too suspect and others made the request, so I answered. In the end, I serve the board.
When Ep 4 was leaked the Maester thread still remained relatively safe, so I didn't do anything then. I will be fine with this thread dying off after Sunday if people in the Maester thread can behave themselves.
Plus, there almost seems to be something magical in that the MGT has mostly been able to avoid trolls/spoilers in the past. I have no clue why and constantly expect that to change in the future, but it hasn't yet.

Thanks for starting the thread. Hopefully, those who have seen or read about the leaks can have the self restraint to stay out of this thread entirely.
About bringing back a wight (they should actually bring more than one in case something happens to one): It would be kind of funny if they hauled one (or more) all the way back down south and immediately before they show him (them) to Danny,Cersei or whoever, the NK long distance remote controls turns them off (un-animates them).

What was spoiled on the board last night is an easy enough conversation to avoid in a thread like this. Basically people are assholes or not and can converse accordingly.

The assumption is that he's a master warg that is controlling every wight like Bran was controlling multiple ravens, right? So yeah, it seems like that's certainly possible. Although if a wight is south of the wall it's basically a spy for the NK so he might want to let it happen.

Or the guys go through all the trouble of catching one and about half way through the tunnel under the wall it turns to dust.
If this were real and I was in it I can guarantee that would happen. I would be like WTF all that work for nothing.

Now that brings up an interesting point - if he is indeed warging them (or actually, however he is controlling them) - I wonder if the NK can use them to talk to people.
Kind of like the aliens did with Brent Spiner in Indepence Day (only without the tentacles on the throat). Then we can really find out what he wants.
Plus, it could make for some pretty cool horror vibes if the wight in question was one of the party who dies or someone like say Ygritte, Mormont, Craster, Mance, etc. (but I guess all those were burned).

Yeah, and you would think Benjen would have tried to get back. Someone already threw out what if they're bringing them through the wall after all that effort to catch one and it disentegrates. That would so be Jon Snow's luck
