The Lannisters did have one but I think some dumbass Lannister lost it in a river.

Tommen II Lannister took it when he sailed to Valyrian after the Doom.

No one has seen it since.

ETA: It was called Brightroar.

Probably had multiple, but I can't recall them ever being referenced.

Did they ever talk about Rhaegar's weapon?

Some of Frey's other daughters are better looking than Talisa. I don't expect this showbiz legacy and butterface with a gym body to appear in many future projects.

Who are you talking about?

The Targaryans had two: Blackfyre and Dark Sister.

The whereabouts of both are unknown, but it is presumed that Blackfyre is somewhere on Dany's side of the world.

Blackfyre. It got lost somewhere during Robert's Rebellion I believe.

Blackfyre was Aegon's.

Dark Sister was Visenya's.

Tithe last known wielder of Dark Sister was Brynden Rivers and the last known wielder of Blackfyre was Bittersteel.

Not on the show, and I don't remember if they discussed it in book 1 or 2.

Well it seems odd to me that the Mormonts can acquire one for hundreds of years, but the Lannisters and Baratheons don't have one. But then again, maybe those families aren't as old. Also, it would make sense to me that the mad king would have had a Valyrian steel sword and Jamie could have taken it from him after killing him.

The Mormonts are really old, the Lannisters lost theirs when a dumb arse Lannister King went into the almost literal bowels of hell to get more treasure and died, and the Baratheons are a house that started after the Fall of Valyria, so they wouldn't have a Valyrian Steel sword.

I wouldn't think the Mad King would have sent Ice to him in the Vale when he was one of the leaders of the rebellion.

He could have just taken it, and Ned got it back after the Sack.

Ok, so in the beginning, Tywin was melting down the Valyrian sword that Ned had, right? Has it been at Kings Landing since he died, or was it passed on to Rob?

I hadn't seen anyone mention it (other than it stayed in KL and was the sword melted down) but Illyn Payne (tongueless executioner for the Lannisters) kept it after Ned was beheaded. Sansa sees him with it at one point I believe after the fact.

My timeline is a bit rusty, so help me out here.

The Tower of Joy, was it before or after the sack of KL? Didn't Ned have Ice then?
