physical attributes aside, I've always said you remind me of Walda Frey

Something I am having trouble grasping and am hoping book readers can perhaps enlighten me on is why the High Sparrow needed Lady Tyrell to tell him about Lansel and Cersei when he said that Lancel had confessed to his fornication and incest when he became a Sparrow. Was he lying when told Cersei this? Will this be answered in a future episode, is it something I missed, or is this not addressed/am I just making this up in my head?

They already knew about the queen's atrocities Lancel confessed when he joined the sparrows. Lady Olenna'a hand forced them to act on it when she brought it to their attention. The faith militant had positioned itself for power with the secrets the knew. They hadn't deemed it time to out Cersei yet but a pissed Lady Olenna basically forces their hand. For the record this pure speculation in the book we do not know the end game of the Faith Militant yet.

Thanks! That cleared it up for me.

The High Sparrow said he confessed in doses. He probably didn't tell them everything all at once.

When Lancel joined the faith he confessed, his confession was to the previous High Septon. In the book Cersei knowing that had him murder, in the show, she had him arrested. Either way Lancel's confession was both moot and mute.
In the book Cersei was actually arrested for the High Septon's murder.

Does anyone think that LF's gift to Lady Olena was something other than Cersei and Lancel?
To me, it could be:
Lancel, Tommen or Myrcella.

Nah I think it was just Lancel.
It definitely wasn't Myrcella because didn't he say it was a handsome young man?

So LF, had one guy out Margarey and another out Cersei?

Does LF have Gendry?

What good would Gendry be for LF?

For one if he's legitimized he's the true heir to the throne. Though why LF would help accomplish this idk.

A very weak claim and yeah LFs game isn't to put someone else on the throne. He'd have to be legitimized by a king. And a king isn't going to legitimize someone to take their place
People just love to think Gendry is a big deal, when it's more likely IMO that he either won't show up again or he won't show up until the very end and hell marry someone (Arya?)

LF already has Mya Stone with him in the Vale, he would have no need for Gendry.

If he's legitimized he has the strongest claim The oldest living son of the previous king.

And correct me if I'm wrong but I think all that needs to happen is a Lord needs to legitimize him.
