Do you ever not troll in these threads? Your schtick is getting old. Nothing was spoiled, yet you come in again bitching about spoilers and threatening to not post anymore in a thread where "Spoilers Possible" is in the title. Please follow through on your threat and say out of the thread. You won't be missed.

:nb4 you threaten to get the next book before anyone else and post spoilers:

Eta: I will take this opportunity to remind everyone of the thread rules, not that any have actually been broken.

quote:

This thread is open to both readers and nonreaders for discussion of the show.

******Mild Spoilers Possible******

Nonreaders: You may ask questions of the book readers in this thread pertaining to what is occurring on the show. More sensitive nonreaders who wish to avoid even the mention of the books should not be in this thread.

Readers: Please answer any questions directly without giving away information which would constitute a significant spoiler. Comparison of events in the show to the books is allowed, but keep any discussion or speculation regarding future events in the book readers thread.

Partial Book Readers: If you have read some, but not all of the books, this is the thread for you.

If something is posted which is a borderline spoiler and someone asks you to edit, just be courteous and edit it. No need for the epic bitchfests which have occurred in the past. Blatant spoilers will be RA'd if you won't edit them yourself.

This thread is experimental and may not work at all, but as long as no assholes show up trying to intentionally ruin things for others some good discussion can be had.

If any significant spoilers get posted, I will update the OP and thread title with appropriate warnings.

Update: Thread is now for the entire season. Please only discuss things which have occurred so far on the show. Try not to discuss any significant info from the books which occurs at a point in time past where the show presently is.

thanks for the spoilery, character by character rundown. I just won't ask questions anymore.

She didn't spoil diddily shite. All you were told is that some arcs are going faster and slower than others than they were in the novels. You asked to know how far into the novels we are, so we told you. Some arcs end earlier than others.

You all need to stop being bitches about the "spoiler" stuff. I was a non-reader last year, and the bitching wasn't even remotely close to what it is now. If I so much as tell you that the actor who plays Ned is white, the non-readers get their pitchforks and torches out and try to burn anyone who answers the question non-spoilery. I'm scared to think how big of babies yall will be next year. I guess episode titles will soon be simply spoilery.

Agreed.

Blue boy was fully warned and I didn't spoil anything. How is saying that 3 character POV's will be from book 5 this season?? Geez.

He may be confused on the structure to where he thought that was a spoiler that they live through Books 3 and 4. I think it would be better to explain the structure.

Book 3 leaves some story threads hanging for characters pretty early on, and they aren't addressed til later. Theon for instance was not at all present in Book 3, and we are just told through flashbacks on what has happened to Theon since the Sack of Winterfell.

Books 4 and 5 are alot like The Lord of the Rings in that they're split geographically, so what happens in Books 4 and 5 happen at the same time (although they'll surely combine them for the show). Book 4 is focused on the South, and Book 5 the North and Across the Narrow Sea.

Also if any readers think I've gone too far, just tell me and I'll edit it.

so Theon, etc. live into the next book, huh? Thanks. Had no reason to know that.

and if I were trolling, I'd probably remark here about how easy you people are to troll.

The books aren't told completely chronologically, so it's irrelevant if he lives to the next book. He's in the next book, but that doesn't necessarily he lives longer than other characters who appear in the later books.

Then what does that make yall? Yall are the most easily trollable group that has ever graced this site. I could tell you that Tyrion is a dwarf, and you all piss yourselves in rage.

Theon wasn't in the third book or the 4th, what you have seen in the show is from DoD.

Actually you asked a question and she answered within the "rules" of this thread.

There was no reason for you to complain. But if it bothers you that much please feel free to leave the discussion. TIA.

I just don't get what the point of the thread is anymore. If it has spoiler "possibilities", it's pretty much a spoiler thread.

What the hell does that even mean, by the way? "Possibilities?" Are there spoilers or not? Yes? Then they're spoilers. Go have buttsex with the reader thread merge with it.

Exactly. The Theon stuff in the show is not beyond what OMLandshark & I have said. All the Theon stuff that happened this season was in book 5.

Your definition of a spoiler is a basic fact within the universe that needs clarification. You asked the question, we answered it, and then you bitch like a 14 year old girl. Literally any answer we give you, you all bitch about spoiling something, when we haven't spoiled a damn thing. All you know is a bit more about the structure of the novels.

There's the non spoiler thread, Middle Ground, and Crackpot. Middle Ground is fair game for the stuff that's happened so far in the books & discussion. Saying that Theon POV this season was in book 5 is not spoiling anything.

And it's going to continue this way, the whole mixing of books. Especially since AFFC and ADWD is not written chronologically. There's going to be jumping around.

As already said the season that just passed and the upcoming season will have elements over at least three books that I can think of.

Exactly. Especially next season, there's going to be a mish mash of plots from the remaining books. It started like that in season 3 and its going to be like this until the last season.

no, it's just a regular spoiler.

You asked the question, we answered it,
no, you answered it. then others threw in additional info I did not request. "How much" is not "tell me who lives and dies and then prepare me for chronological shifts in the future books, the latter of which was spoiled during their defense of the previous spoiler.

it's a message board. you have no idea who I'm bitching like.

thanks for clearing that up, dicks

Don't sweat it, some people just want to bitch because they're still asshurt over getting banned over some GoT related stuff previously.

So let's just move on. If he wants to stay he can, if not then fair enough as well.

Just ignore blueboy, this is what he does, try to stir things up. I think he enjoys witnessing the infighting. He will strongly hint that he has read things at times, perhaps not the books themselves but at least from spoiler sites, then adamantly deny having any future knowledge of things later. You can see where he's been called out on this before earlier in this thread. Don't let him get to you, just carry on like he is Hodor and you can't understand what he is saying.
