This thread is open to both readers and nonreaders for discussion of the show.

******Mild Spoilers Possible******

Nonreaders: You may ask questions of the book readers in this thread pertaining to what is occurring on the show. More sensitive nonreaders who wish to avoid even the mention of the books should not be in this thread.

Readers: Please answer any questions directly without giving away information which would constitute a significant spoiler. Comparison of events in the show to the books is allowed, but keep any discussion or speculation regarding future events in the book readers thread.

Partial Book Readers: If you have read some, but not all of the books, this is the thread for you.

If something is posted which is a borderline spoiler and someone asks you to edit, just be courteous and edit it. No need for the epic bitchfests which have occurred in the past. Blatant spoilers will be RA'd if you won't edit them yourself.

This thread is experimental and may not work at all, but as long as no assholes show up trying to intentionally ruin things for others some good discussion can be had.

If any significant spoilers get posted, I will update the OP and thread title with appropriate warnings.

Update: Thread is now for the entire season. Please only discuss things which have occurred so far on the show. Try not to discuss any significant info from the books which occurs at a point in time past where the show presently is.

6/12/13 Update - The thread has started getting into some theories, but they so far appear to be based on things shown on the show, from the DVD extras, or contained within the books up to this point. Therefore, I see no major problem with it.

The nonreaders have started a Theory thread and there is off course the reader's Crackpot thread, I guess this will naturally become the Middle Ground Crackpot Thread.

You'll probably see a lot of fighting and bitching compared to last week's non-spoilers thread .

Agreed, that thread was very smooth and no one got their feathers rustled at all. Don't even know why I thought this thread was needed. Guess I'm just blatantly upping my post count.

No, I think this thread is a good idea. I can only think of one poster that was all pissed off about it, and she accused Napoleon of things that he didn't even talk about.

My response to you was sarcasm assuming you we're being sarcastic about last week's train wreck.

Belle had a good question for discussion in the nonreaders thread.

I'm going with the Lannister Honeypot stuff and saying she's a spy

What's this honeypot business? I apparently missed this somewhere.

I've seen the Honeypot thing mentioned before, but haven't seen it.

That would be quite crafty of Tywin if he got Robb to marry a spy.

My gf who has not read any of the books thinks she is Lannister spy. One of the first couple interactions with Robb she had a piece of paper and jokingly admitted it to being a letter to Tywin. My girlfriend thinks that she joked about that because it was actually true.

Thanks. I just watched it. Interesting stuff. My only issue is that when she is writing it all out in the open she doesn't do a whole to conceal it when Robb rolls up (but she does when Catelyn does ).

It wouldn't surprise me though if she's a spy. I'm just curious as to what house she's actually from/associated with.

My theory that she's a "babe" who was sent to win his heart and break his alliances - so yeah, a spy. Apparently others have said this before. I am cool.

So can we ask spoilery book questions or is this just for differences between the books and show?

I think you can ask a book question but it's limited to what we've seen up through the show and any answer can't expand on it too much if it's super sensitive. At least that's how I took it.

Okay. What was Robb's wife like in the book, only up to this point?
