The only ways I could see the X-Men winning is either Professor X taking over Godzilla's mind, Magneto taking the top of the Empire State Building and then ramming it through his heart, or Jean Grey to go full Phoenix on his arse, and I doubt all three of those. Godzilla should easily win.

Magneto would take control of The Statue of Liberty like that scene from Ghostbusters. That would distract Godzilla long enough to position Cyclops on a rooftop to blast him while Nightcrawler teleported Wolverine on top of his head to stab his eyeballs out. Iceman could freeze his feet in place while Storm hit him with lighting. Mystique could take the form of Bryan Cranston and yell in a cracking voice about how he saw this coming.

First off Wolverine, Beast, and Colossus might as just stay at home because they would be absolutely useless against Godzilla. If Prof. X can control a lizard's mind then he could be Godzilla, but if not then he might as well stay with Wolverine, Beast, and Colossus at home.
Now the other three could team up and take Godzilla down. Iceman is powerful enough to freeze Godzilla solid. But even if Godzilla is too big he could freeze Godzilla's head with either Cyclops blasting it or Storm could shatter it with lightning.

They're both great but different.
I guess Xmen is the better movie, but Godzilla is a damn fun time. You really can't go wrong with either. Just depends on your mood.
