I suppose. It also fits the Game of Thrones narrative of cold reality vs. romantic heroic fantasy.

Show Ned also went toe to toe with Jamie Lannister.

Tower of Joy will be epic. I was thinking a few months back starting with the Tower of Joy and beating you over the head that Jon is a Targ, then shifting to Jon being 'born again'.

He then takes the mantle the King in the North and retakes winterfell and joins his sister.

Given we don't have the 6th book yet, Im not sure whether I think they will bring jon back early or wait some. Although, since the battle scenes with him have been seen, It has to be relatively early to build up to that don't you think?

The book is irrelevant. Jon snow will rise and rise soon.

I don't see them holding his rising past the 1st episode.

Although I'd love to see his rising coming immediately after Bran's vision of the ToJ.

That's the setup. They have the ToJ, Ned and Howland defeat Dayne, Ned sees his sister before she dies, promises her, takes Jon and we fade from the baby's face to Jon lying "dead" in the snow.

Well she's right. He's dead.

And then reborn.

They really want to keep this facade going even though no one is buying it

She's on a completely different set so she wouldn't know either way unless the producers or Kit told her, and we all know their agenda

In the article she told the host that was interviewing her that she knows he's dead because she has the script.

quote:

and Maisie said she's "aware of the other storylines" happening around her as "We're given the full script at the beginning of the season." So she knows what happens not only to Arya -- who is now blind, leaving Maisie's own eyes in pain from contact lenses -- but to everyone else.

quote:

The host returned to the Jon Snow question several times, at one point saying that Maisie knew the fate of Jon Snow. She said, "Yeah, he's dead." He immediately said, "[Jon] is not dead!" and called her a liar. Maisie responded, "I'm not a liar! I'm very sorry. I would know, of all people, after all. I'm the one that has the script."

But the question the host keeps asking her is whether or not Snow is dead. The answer to that question is obviously yes, he is dead. The question he should've been asking her is whether or not he will be brought back to life. I'm guessing the host was told before the interview that he couldn't ask that question...either that or he is an idiot.

It's one of the worst kept secrets ever and Kit has been on set for the past 2-3 months.

Again I highly doubt it the cast on completely different continents has the entire show script regardless of what she says, unless they sent every one a fake script saying that Jon is dead just to try and keep up with this ridiculous lie they are trying to pull off
