First off, no I would not. Holy shite. Just looking at that grill makes my dick hurt.

What insight of mine do you find unreasonable? Regardless of whether or not you agree that it was intentional, Mel basically extinguished House Baratheon. She did that shite, and it is also true that all of the red priests/priestesses think Dany is the chosen one.

Makes perfect sense to me.

-Meera is Jon Snow's twin sister
Many people believe this.

-Varys is a warg
Okay, now you're just a retard.

-Vary has the Blackfyre sword in his possession
I'm still not sure if I give a shite about that.

Can't remember specifics. My Varys warg theory is off the wall but the context clues are there in the books and there's a shitload of them.

His little birds are actual birds. How many eyes does a spider have? The kids without tongues... He wargs into them. He bites their tongues off upon initially warging into them so the can't tell others.

I thought he killed them all when they reached a certain age. I know Varys is popular among show watchers, but he's a total piece of shite in the books.

I never bought into this one because I really don't see what payoff there would be for it. Meera hasn't really be developed as a character at all. What would be the import of a reveal like that?

quote:

-Varys is a warg

I never thought about that but its possible and it would make his super spy master stuff a bit more believable. Main thing I see against it is we're getting pretty close to the end of the story and unless he's gonna warg a dragon or a White Walker or something at a crucial time, once again I don't see a heck of a lot of dramatic potential in it.

quote:

-Vary has the Blackfyre sword in his possession

This one is probably the most likely out of the three. I'd go so far as to say that Varys definitely has some connection with the Blackfyres. It could be just his friend the Illyrio Mopatis and his wife and son providing the connection but then again Varys might well be more personally involved.

The Blackfyre Sword could be Lightbringer.

This was the sword of Aegon the Conqueror, the original Targaryen to unite the seven kingdoms.... Would be a cool twist to have this sword reappear and become significant again.

His sister wielded Dark Sister, Aegon wielded Blackfyre.

ETA: But I doubt either one turns out to be Lightbringer. If Lightbringer is an actual sword, I think it'll be Dawn. But I think Lightbringer is actually referring to either the dragons or the Nights Watch.

Wait, I thought we were talking about Bloodraven's sword.

And I don't think Lightbringer refers to any known sword. I think it's a separate entity, and I really don't think it's necessarily a good thing. It was tempered through the heart of a woman, after all. Not the most cheerful of things.

It would work if she knew all along and told Jon as she lay dying. Somehow. He's at the wall. She's north of wall. I can see it.

I don't think Hugo was taking about Dark Sister (which was Bloodraven's sword). The Targaryens had two Valyrian steel blades. One was Dark Sister which was wielded by one of Aegon the Conqueror's sister, and last in possession of Bloodraven. And the other was Blackfyre which was wielded by Aegon, carried by all of the Targaryen kings until one of them passed it to one of their bastard sons, who ended up leading the Blackfyre rebellion. The sword is thought to have been lost at some point during the rebellions.

Agreed, see my ETA in my above post.

Got some predictions for season 6, just a watcher but have read up on some theories

Little Finger will have the North rally around Sansa and destroy the Boltons. Winterfell is now under control by Sansa and LF.

Dany rides Drogon convincing the Dothraki to join her. By the end of the season she sets sail for Westeros. However Jorah won't make either gets killed in battle or Greyascale.

Cersi unleashes hell on The High Sparrow and starts a war with the Martells. Tommen will be killed by the Martells and Olena Tyrell for the imprisonment of her grandchildren. Jamie kills Cersi after she sentences him to death blaming him for her daughter's death.

Arya is sent west to assassinate someone but decides to kill either Cersi or Walker Frey.

White Walkers march on The Wall destroying The Night's Watch. The Red Woman resurrects Jon who unites the remaining men of the Watch and the Wildlings. The White Walkers force Jon and his men south. Jon's true parentage is discovered, he is a Targaryen. The second rider.

Bran wargs into one of Dany's possibly becoming a third rider substitute.

The ninth episode will be The White Walker vs The Night's Watch. The final scene will either be Jon's resurrection or Dany invading Westeros.

Definitely agree that E9&10 for S6 will involve a battle with the White Walkers & Night's King at the Wall.

Depends on how many seasons they plan on going

If they want 8, which is the latest rumor, then that's moving a little too fast I think. Westeros needs to have it's shite together (Jon and Dany joining forces) before the Walkers cross the wall. Remember the Walkers don't set up camp, they don't eat or rest, whenever they start marching, it's a nonstop sweeping through westeros

Now if it's 7 seasons then I could see it, but there's still a lot of stuff that needs to be set up before THE WAR really starts. I think lannisters start dropping like flies next season

I don't think I'd like it if this happens. If Sansa goes back to LF after he convinced her to marry Ramsey, that just continues her "naivity", and doesn't allow her growth. I mean, he married her off to a psychopath for goodness sake. Why in the world would she want to go back with someone that did that to her?

George RR Martin accidentally tells us Jon is alive...

We already knew that, but still figured I'd post it.
