Might as well recast Maisie Williams with no name since she'll have a different face every episode now

I was worried about this. They will find some way to work around it

Bloodraven was an archer first and foremost... So was Howland Reed.
They never really explained how Reed saved Ned from Arthur, but he did win that big tournament, so I always just assumed he was a closet badass.

It makes perfect sense they would change actors and appearance of Jon Snow 2.0. They would save a fortune not having to pay Kit.
Really? Are you trying to make up for Lucas being banned?

Mild trolling... But seriously... Was Azor Ahai the same guy before he was "reborn" or was he some pisswater prince that transformed into the superhero that saved the world?

I guess we'll find out if Jon Snow is the second coming.

I don't remember the answer to that, if there ever was a clear one, but I theorized that Mel uses the terms AA and TPtwP interchangeably because "the dragon has three heads" and it's a single entity made up of three individuals.

It's got to be Dayne. Bloodraven was good with Dark Sister, but "the greatest swordsman" was definitely Dayne (or really, possibly Howland Reed, but that's definitely not the casting description). And I'm sure we'll find out who Jon really is at the beginning of next season, but I really hope the next book comes out before then.

That's what I think and hope. I've been talking about it with friends since the end of the show. It's funny I got fussed at for not spoiling the Jon Snow ending to the guys who didn't read the book. I've been worried they would leave Jon out of S6 like they did with Bran in S5, but to me, there is no way the book doesn't come out before they start season 6.

Unless they are gonna pull a Feast for Crows sort of thing in the show, meaning they'll explore all kinds of other things and remind us at the end of the season that this other shite was going on.

Well they can't just leave him out

And there's no chance that book 6 comes before season 6

Well then you sentences are all messed up too

They could just leave him out because they've done that with a "main" character in Bran this past season and they left him out of AFFC too.

There is for sure a chance that WoW comes out before S6 because GRRM would be a big dumb a-hole for letting the show pass him. No matter what he has to "have the want" to reveal stuff before the show does :lol

Unless the show does the turn and goes back to other storylines that we keep asking what happened to so and so like Gendry, Hound, BwB.

Could you imagine the show revealing Jon Snow's parentage before he does with the book? That'd be crazy

It has to, or he'll lose millions in book sales. These books aren't about the high art of literature. They're about finding out what happens next. If people already know too much, many will not buy the next book.

Completely incomparable situations. Bran has never been a "main character" in the show. He's been a side story that got super interesting at the end.

Jon has way more connections to the story to ignore. You have to ignore the wall, the Walkers, Mel, etc or you do those storylines with mind numbingly boring ways

GRRM has "wanted" to finish the book for 5 years. Doesn't mean shite if he can't do it. He was nowhere near finished recently and he's not one to rush out 1000 of pages in a year

He signed away the rights. He knew this was possible and probable. They can't pussyfoot around and spend millions so you don't hurt GRRMs feelings

Got a link for that? 5 years is actually about the time he's taken to get them out.

Everything I've read said he had around 200 pages of manuscript done and his books are usually 1000 pages of manuscript.

I just googled and he said he needed 480 more pages of manuscript like 3 days ago to finish, but they weren't sure if he were joking or not

But he is in the books. Bran is probably the most powerful entity in the entire series. At a young age he was able to warg into another person. My guess is it his vision that leads to the Tower of Joy reveal of Jon's true parentage in the show.

That's pretty irrelevant to the show Bran and their ability to just "ignore" the character

I've heard that he's 80% done. I guess no one but him really knows, but if he doesn't get it out, it's going to cost him.

I don't believe at all that he only has 200 pages done. shite, I think just the sample chapters he's released are well on the way to 200 pages.

Many will. Many won't if they already know what happens. I'm not saying he'd lose 50% of the would be readers, but it wouldn't be an insignificant percentage either.

I'm betting he finishes before next season, though. Lazy fat piece of shite.

I'm really not sure how you and Hugo can read the books and come up with the fricking stupid theories/insight that you do. I'm really blown away.
