We'll see if the numbers go up this weekend as it's not a holiday, or if the trend is real.

I didn't watch it live last week, nor did half of the board. People vacation on Memorial Day, and I was among them and didn't really care to watch it live when I knew it would be waiting for me tomorrow. The Neilson ratings are worthless these days. I guarantee that almost everyone that missed it due to the holiday watched it sometime this week, or shortly before the next one. And it was by far the best episode of the season, so I don't see how the ratings won't go up.

Penance walk! One of my favorite scenes from the books. Hope they do it justice.

Now this news from last year makes sense. LINK

Hopefully

I'm afraid they're going to try to cram too much into the last three episodes. Hope nothing is rushed too much that it's ruined.

I'm starting to get really hyped about this week's episode. A battle at Hardhome between the the Freefolk and Jon Snow vs the White Walker's led by the Night's King! More I've read about this battle and it's production, has me extremely excited

I didn't really get a good idea of how much dragon glass (obsidian) Sam gave Jon right before he left. Was it only the one piece that he handed him or did he give him a bundle of it?

With John swinging Valaryian steel and arming the Night's Watch members that came with him and some of the wildlings with dragon glass I could see it being a bit of a battle. Otherwise, not so much.

No doubt that the dragon glass will come into play in E8. I'm guessing Sam gave Jon more than just one piece of it.

There also typically aren't that many actual WW's, mainly a lot of wights. So if they have fire they should have a chance. Of course we already know Jon survives but I am guessing at least one of the other minor characters dies (Edd or Tormund).

I think the people who stab John are Ollie, Allister and possibly Edd. Edd's not a big fan of the wildling policy either.

Well we've already seen in a couple of the trailers that the Wildlings and Jon's crew will be making a mad dash for the boats. So I'm guessing while they may take out a few wights, I doubt they stand much of a chance at winning the battle.

I hope it's more scary than action-packed. Hardhome was creepy as frick in the books. Maybe we'll even get a zombie kraken.

In think we finally get the zombie bear. That was a pretty intense scene in the book.

I hope we have the NW/wildings arguing...then all of a sudden the fire dims, it gets extra cold and dark, and people in the distance start screaming.

Probably something like this, or exactly this. If they're all running for the boats, I'm thinking it's because of a massive army of the dead/WW, and maybe even some zombie Crows.

They skipped the battle of the Fist of the First Men, so they need to make up for it. I want my zombie bear, dammitt.

And as they're running to the boats...wights rise up on the shore.

Probably Cersei's walk because that was supposed to be merciful. That's what she begs for when she "confesses."

I'm just looking forward to the Facebook chick meltdown when Jon Snow gets it.
