I wonder if Sam and Gilly will hop the boat for Oldtown/The Citadel this season?
Just had a thought - I know it's a long shot but what if Stannis sent Davos to bring Shireen to the Wall with instructions that she be brought south to keep her away from Melisandre, Sylese and those knights that support the "Lord of Light". She could kind of take the place of the baby the smuggled out last time (Mance's child?)
I just have a feeling that sooner or later Stannis is going to buy the farm and Shireen will have to rule his land/castle (Stormlands/Dragonstone?) probably with Davos' help.

Who knows if they even do that. Maester Aemon was on that trip with them before dying and that is where Gilly hopped on Sam in the book, not Castle Black.

Agree with you there. I'm thinking the numbers will go up because it's not a holiday weekend and there's only 3 episodes left.
