What have we ever seen in the entire history of this show that suggests Cersei would change her mind about ruling and help fight the white walkers? Why would anyone in the show think they could convince her? Furthermore, why would anyone trust her at all? It's bad writing. Doesn't mean I don't like the show anymore but we can admit that it's a stupid idea.

She mentions about how Tywin dealt with Robb. It's pretty clear she's trying to setup Red Wedding 2.0

Me too. I like to experience it live and unspoiled

I do too, but with the leaks, I get nervous about the higher chance of being accidentally spoiled, so I watched it to prevent that. I'll still watch again tonight.

I've read the leaked script. I'm still very anxious awaiting this episode. Should be epic.

Wearing white to blend in with the northern snow?

I hope so. But none of the guys were wearing white so i dont know. I just hate all the dark clothes she has been wearing. The quarth outfit was my favorite. It was my halloween costume for 2 years.

Me, I haven't seen the leaked video. It's killing me. HBO has got to stop leaks. It's dividing us as a country.

Yes it is a terrible idea which is going forward with what appears to be little to no planning based on everything we saw in last weeks episode.

Maybe the Hound dies and is reanimated, and they bring him back. Then we get zombie mountain vs wight Hound.

The mountain doesn't strike me as anything more than a slightly more mobile giant that can also wield a sword. Can anyone honestly say he does anything more than just over power smaller foes?

I don't know how good of a swordsman he's supposed to be, but he didn't seem that bad with a sword against the hound in season one.

I've held out from watching the episode ahead of time. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

FWIW, I agree with those who say the plan was kind of silly and was really done to get a Magnificent 7/Fellowship episode.

If they had to do it, they could have at least included Jamie in it. If Cersei will believe anyone it would be a Jamie who has seen the entire army, the WW and the NK.

And heck, if Jamie had gone, they might as well have brought Bronn too.

I honestly find the premise hilarious that we have real, live dragons in Westeros but people regularly scoff at the mention of white walkers/wights. Even after they've seen/dealt with the dragons and even more "magical" shite (see: Dany, Ceresi, even Tyrion to a degree, the Maesters, etc.).

It's like they're some of the posters here that freak out about how quickly people travel around Westeros but are all in on dragons, black magic smoke babies, etc.

Well to be fair dragon skulls were around and proof that dragons had existed.

There was no such proof of white walkers. Or even giants for that matter. At least that I'm aware of.

Well in their world, dragons are real live creature that went extinct not long prior. Where as White Walkers and the Long Night happened several thousand years ago. There's no croncrete proof they ever existed until now.

It's like if a small dinosaur (obviously went extinct millions of years ago but we know they existed) were to be found alive but it wouldn't mean we now believe mermaids exist.

Most fantasy stories invent a method for time travel and Game of Thrones technically doesn't have that. So it is sort of breaking its own rules - which is a big no no to try and maintain a semblance of reality within a given fantasy world.

For example, if the lord of light suddenly made an appearance within the world in the second to last episode and beat the white walkers - people would call bullshite because even though we have magic and some follow him, there is no device that should allow that to happen and it would seem like lazy / bullshite writing - whereas if Bran found some Greenseer trick and did something very similar it comes off a whole lot better.

That is certainly an extreme example, but just because its fantasy and technically anything is possible doesn't mean that a story / world shouldn't follow its own set of rules. Just my opinion of course.
