But it's a freaking story where people come back from the dead and can walk through fire.
That's pure fantasy, though. It's not possible to question things like that. Either you accept them or you don't.

Do you have a problem with the hound being alive? Last we saw him he was septic and on death's doorstep.

They've made it pretty clear that the Waif was trying to kill Arya slowly and painfully, and that's what allowed her to escape and kill her. That's why another poster said that Jaqen was testing Waif as much as he was testing Arya.

I don't remember what happened to him. I admit a lot of this show is a forgettable blur to me.
Just curious, but for a small girl who was slashed across the midsection and deeply stabbed twice in the abdomen, how common do you think it is for her to be running around like OJ in the airport the next day? FFS, she appeared completely healed right after the actress patched her up, with no labored breathing, no winces of pain, etc, and that was before she drank the opium. It was like it never happened.

Were you and I watching the same episode? Arya was hurting pretty bad

She did grimace briefly following her 10 foot jump out the window, but it was only the 20 foot leap and subsequent roll down the stone steps with the oranges (ooooh, oranges, harbingers of death, the only thing missing was a Wilhelm scream) that slowed her down, and in between she was hauling arse, sliding under carts at a full run, and other crazy shite.
As for her scene in the bed, when she was talking to the actress after being patched up, I just watched it again, and she did let out a couple of tiny winces, so I stand corrected on that, but she otherwise looked and sounded perfectly well.

What was the rumor that Cersei asked Qyburn about after finding out there will be no more trial by combat?

That Queen Margaery has a bigger dick than Tommen.

Let's get really in the weeds here.
People routinely have outpatient laparoscopic surgeries where multiple "puncture" wounds are present from the placement of trocars. For a gallbladder or appendix removal typically 3-4 incisions are made and blunted trocars are placed into this incisions and into the abdomen. While special care is made to avoid puncturing important organs and viscera, it's still multiple puncture wounds.
These people go home often on the same day of their surgeries. Of course they don't usually sprint out of the hospital but in general they are coherent, able to walk and eat/drink the same day.
You may have to suspend to belief that the knife missed any important internal organs but outside of the liver and spleen (both which sit nearly under the rib cage) the bowel can be more easily displaced and missed with puncture wounds. I've taken care of about a dozen patients who have been stabbed multiple times only to have the knife miss any vital organs. Literally a 10 minute surgery to look inside with a camera.
Sure it's a TV show with resurrections and dragons and so forth but this scenario isn't outside the realm of possibility.

If you can't suspend disbelief, you should have stopped watching in episode 2 when it became obvious Bran wasn't going to die from the fall.

Its really of little concern to me but the issue seems to be that not only did she survive, she was capable of running through the streets akin to Jason Bourne with the where with all to circle back to a spot where should could get the kill, followed by taking the waif back to the temple where she removes her face and places it within the temple.. I guess she could have removed the face at the kill spot but who knows.. They could have simply espoused to the magical healing prowess of the liquid she was given and been done with it

I was wondering this too. I would bet it has something to do with wildfire. The Mad King hid wildfire all over the city so he could destroy Kings Landing if he lost the war. Jaime killed him before it was ignited. Maybe someone on Cersei's side figured it all out? If so, she is gonna burn it all down.

I thought Tyrion used the wildfire when Stannis try to attack Kings Landing way back when.
Unless there is that much more.

I'm guessing there's more. Cersei walks around like she has an ace in the hole. She doesn't seem at all worried about what's going to happen. Just really angry. I think she has a plan, and it involves burning the city. This would also take the chaos in Kings Landing to the next level. Thing's there have become less and less stable throughout the entire show. It sets things up well for Danny to come in and fix the huge mess. It won't take long for her to win the praise of the common people if she can clean everything up quickly and turn to the white walker problem.

Yeah I'm assuming there's a lot more. I'll bet that was just one store of it

Gendry was sold by the brotherhood to Melisandre several season ago. She leeched his blood & locked him in a cell. Davos helped him escape. Last we saw of him he was rowing a boat back to King's Landing
