I just watched it today and what caught my attention was the High Sparrow said it would be a trial of the seven with seven judges just like before the Conquest ie before the Targaryens. I just wonder if it was the Targaryens who brought trial by combat or what.

The only reason it sticks in my mind is because of how descriptive he got about it which makes me think there will be no other form of trial.

Yeah, I am not sure how the faith handles their trials and what the options are for the accused if there are any.

I just think the Mountain Zombie has been kept around for some purpose.

She knows the power of the pussy. They are locked up and probably about to be executed, you take every advantage you can get, no matter how small the chance of paying off. As far as why the writers included it? I'm guessing there will be an escape and bron will team up for a short time at least. Plus people get restless if you dont have nudity in the episode.

Maybe your first point stands, but it's pretty weak. I agree insofar as "Who benefits?" but that's the question of the whole scene. How does this advance anything. It feels like another instance where there isn't shite in place in regards to story so writers are just kinda...throwing shite against the wall.

Yall are getting pretty quick around here to rule a scene pointless. Let's see what happens next then we can revisit it. There will probably be another interaction between those 2 if I had to guess

Foreign men are always more attractive to women. Its something different. Plus he was a pretty good fighter and that probably turned them on. He took on two of them and walked away from it.

It's losing me. The last 3 episodes have been shite.

Told my wife that last night.

She asked why did she tease him in the cell. I told her there had not been any tits and arse so it was an opportunity.

She had a nice rack though.

Also, I wonder what exactly are the advantages of confessing in order to be granted the "Mother's Mercy."

For what purpose? They've shown no qualms about it in the past.

The setup is there for a few to die in the last few episodes. Here's hoping to some action

I'm afraid this is an indication that the show has lost our confidence as viewers.

The way they went about saving Bron was pretty ridiculous. Even if it does have a point later on that doesnt change anything. They could have done much better with that part of the story than just have some hot chick go "hey here are my tits, give me attention and I will give you the antidote".

Theon is fricking cold blooded. Now I dont know if he is worse or Ramsey.

Tomin or whatever sucks. He is almost as useless and pathetic as theon.

Glad to see Cersei finally get called out for her bullshite. Hope she dies but we all know she wont.

or just not have him poisoned and use the time used for that scene for more important things

this

it amounts to a bunch of whining that is essentially "THEY DIDNT USE THE SCENE TO TIE SOMETHING UP IN THE EPISODE THEREFOR ITS WORTHLESS AND HURTS THE SHOW."

have people not realized by now that this show is a slow burner that will set something up in an early episode to deliver the payoff at a later date?

Tommen is unwatchable.

Pretty sad that the Faith Militant storyline is the most intriguing. We need more Jaqen H'Ghar

the possibilities are just weak. bronn is a fan favorite and a great secondary character, but a bad primary character

this SCREAMS of the tv writers just trying to give Bronn more scream time b/c he's popular...the exact opposite move of why this show is popular

also, regardless of where bronn is going, i doubt that scene establishes much. he should have never been poisoned and i bet you can end up in the same place without that scene/act
