It is a made up name so I wouldn't get too worked up about it. I haven't read the books so I am sure I spell most of the names incorrectly.

Only a reader would know how to spell her name correctly.

Arguing realism in a show that has dragons and a woman who births a murdering shadow figure

How am I arguing realism? I didn't say she didn't or couldn't do it. In fact I've said I believe she did do it. I just don't know how yet.

not that i think he was in on it due to this last episode but when gma was there fondling sansa she put her arm on sansa's chair back when tyrion was coming back to his seat. they could have exchanged the jewel at that time. deep down i would love for tyrion to actually be the murderer yet someone else get sentenced/beheaded for it.

I read the Viewer's Guide and the GoT Wikia (not AWOIAF). Those are kosher for Hodors.

I wasn't necessarily speaking to you, but to everyone who keeps saying that she couldn't possibly do it

I'm not sure if anyone brought this up, but this is the most poorly directed episode of GoT that I've ever seen. Especially the rape scene with Jamie, when Cersei is all "it's not right" and Jamie goes "I don't care!" That whole sequence was retarded. A woman is getting raped and the scene was so poorly shot that I was laughing at the screen. That shouldn't happen.

Yeah...the consensus on the GoT subreddit is that they played up the rapeyness a little too much. I would say more about what I read, but if I say anything about how it goes in the book, I'd be accused of being a bookreader again. (Is one really a "bookreader" if you just know how a scene from the show is different in the books? Not like it's spoiling anything you haven't already seen.)

But yeah, thinking back on it that scene was weird.

I think they shot it in a way they thought would emphasize that not only was it a rape but it was a rape right next to their dead son. You're right, it really didn't work that well though.

Some of the directors and actors have said it wasn't "really" a rape since she "consents at the end"....which is BS in terms of 21st century morality, but GoT is based on medieval Europe as it is, so....I dunno. But it's just way out of character for Jaime and Cersei - Jaime wouldn't be that much of an a-hole to force himself on his sister right next to their son's dead body, and Cersei wouldn't put up with stuff like that ESPECIALLY considering they're next to their son's dead body.

Some penetration would have worked better. After establishing that Joffrey was right there, they could have gone penetration, back to Joff corpse, more penetration, outside with just hearing the screams, then back to penetration. Scene.

I would have liked it better had they just fallen to the ground when Jamie first gets mad and instead of showing them just have the camera on Joff's face and slowly zoom out and out of the atrium as we hear Cersei's protests and screams.

It wasn't just that scene though, right off the bat when Cersei is screaming at Tyrion, it seemed like a "last week on Game of Thrones" thing. I wasn't sure that the episode had actually started.

I agree, that would have been better.
