The fool has to be involved but I don't understand why he would give her his necklace then take her away after the wedding.

Prince oberlyn maybe?

So did Cersei off Joffrey to remain Queen Regent?

I'm betting on Grandma Tyrell. About 10 minutes prior to the poisoning she went up to Sansa and gave her condolences on her brother. The speech was a huge foreshadowing to Jeofferys death.

The pie must have been poisoned. You remember it focused on it for a split second after he cut it. Unless Sansa poisoned it somehow.

I agree it was the pie but I think they focused on it for a second to show that Joffrey chopped up some birds when he cut into it.

she wasn't queen because robert had a son for the power to pass on to. Joffrey has no heir, so his wife should be queen

Yea, I thought they paused on the cake after he cut into it because he chopped a bird up in there. But it would make more since for the cake to be poisoned.
I don't think Margary or Grandma would kill Joffrey until they consumated the marriage and Margary could secure her status.

I don't think Cersei would poison her own son because she loves her kids too much.

Honestly I was starting to think Tyrion was going to die tonight.

Did Cersei order Tyrion to be arrested? He'll have to talk his way out of that but they don't have much evidence.

And why did Cersei want the food feed to the hounds instead of the poor?

Let's get this discussion rolling.

I didn't even pick up on any foreshadowing during that chat. I'm going to have to watch the episode again to see if there were dead birds in the pie, and see if there was foreshadowing in grandma's talk with Sansa.

my guess is to be a bitch and to prove a point that she still has control, not Margary.

The grandma said something about how you shouldn't kill people at weddings.

During that whole scene with Joffrey ordering Tyrion around I kept pleading with my tv, someone please just fricking kill this kid. Very satisfying episode.

It was old man lanaster

Young boy takes crown. He gets to keep power. Tyrion goes away since he dispises his son.

Joffrey was obviously growing beyond the ability to control. He was a liability, and old man lanaster saw it. Family first.
