If you aren't loving Ygritte by the end of S2... You're doing it wrong.
ETA:
If you want to watch a pretty good indie horror flick with Rose Leslie - Check out Honeymoon.

I was trying to be classy... but your Mom doesn't really care for you either.
The show is better when you are not guarding yourself from loving the characters
It's really unfair to new viewers to neuter the experience like that

It's really no big deal - the two things I always hear about the series are:
1. Joffrey being an arse - and the talk just doesn't do him justice.
2. A lot of characters (even central characters) die. I knew about Ned - but that is about it.
I appreciate everyone not giving me spoilers. I'm glad I have a forum to talk about it.

I just finished season 3 today and my head is spinning trying to fathom it all.
I'm sad I'll never get to watch it for the first time again.

Trust me, someone will eventually throw out a spoiler. Heck, someone already has (luckily it was deleted).

Just finished "The Rains of Castamere" (The red wedding). Holy shite. I'm not sure what to think right now. That was brutal.
Going to stay up another hour and finish off season 3.
Edit: I just finished episode 10. First of all, the production value this season has been impressive, from The Wall, to north of The Wall, to the pure violence of many scenes - the Stark family, Theon, Vary's sorcerer, Jamie Lannister, etc. Anyway, as of the end of season three, it appears a showdown is looming between the Lords/Kings of Westeros, to the undead/white walkers, to the the massive army being put together by the Dragon Queen.
This story is intense.

Surprised you refer to dany as "dragon queen" since she has so many titles:
-mother of dragons
-breaker of chains
-queens of the andals and the first men
-khaleesi of the great khalasaar
-whore of essos

Exactly why I didn't want to read the books

After the RW I just wanted Dany to burn all of Westeros to the fricking ground

there are 2 kinds of people, talkers and doers. Dany is the former.

Actually meant to write Mother of Dragons. Was going to write Khaleesi but couldn't remember how to spell it.

I think I'd be hesitant to tell anyone who is just past Season 1 to Google anything Game of Thrones. The internet is dark and full of terror.
The horrible feeling when you type a character's name into google and the autofill spoils his death.
